Tiger Woods won the 2019 Masters by a shot over Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Xander Schauffele.
It looked like third-round leader Francesco Molinari was in control with a two-shot lead heading into the par-3 12th, but his tee shot found the water fronting the green which resulted in a double-bogey. Molinari also had a double-bogey 7 on the par-5 15th which essentially ended his chances.
Tiger played the steadiest round of all the leaders. He said his plan was to be patient, and after birdies on 13, 15, and 16 he lead by 2 shots, with a careful bogey at the final hole providing the final margin.
