This was of the more exciting finishes that I have seen recently as Patrick Cantlay and Bryson DeChambeau battled all day, and then into a 6-hole playoff at the BMW Championship. As they say, drive for show and putt for dough, and that was proven again as Cantlay won despite being regularly outdriven by 40 yards by Bryson.

Collin Morikawa won the 149th Open Championship at Royal St George’s, but if you’re like me you missed a significant part of the final round coverage because early Sunday afternoon is a time when certain things around the house have to get done. Kramer Hickok finished runnerup at the Travellers Championship, losing to Harris English after a eight-hole playoff. English finally made a birdie, the first in the playoff, to win for the 4th time.
The playoff went on so long that they had to sub in the standard bearer for the group after the 5th playoff hold, because the poor guy was exhausted from going back and forth between the 18th and 17th holes.
Kramer made me think of his namesake, Seinfeld’s Kramer, so I found this video of clips from a classic episode of Seinfend on Youtube.
