From Golf Channel’s “Best Lessons Ever” series, Tiger Woods gives advice on how to hit the ball longer and straighter.
This is similar to Martin Hall’s “Pull with the Body while Pushing with Arms” tip.
Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Safeway Open, according to Golf.com. It was just on Friday that Tiger committed to playing in the event, and now 3.5 days later he has decided to withdraw.
The reason given is that he feels his game is not ready to play against the top competition. Also included in today’s news is Tiger will also not be playing Turkish Airlines Open, which he had previously suggested playing.
“After a lot of soul searching and honest reflection, I know that I am not yet ready to play on the PGA Tour or compete in Turkey,” Woods said on his website. “My health is good, and I feel strong, but my game is vulnerable and not where it needs to be. When I announced last week I was going to Safeway, I had every intention of playing, or I wouldn’t have committed.”
Hopefully Tiger will be back for his own event, the Hero World Challenge, in December.
