Atthaya Thitikul won the JTBC ClassicĀ after a two-hole playoff with Nanna Koerstz Madsen. Thitikul shot a final-round 8-under par, and then had to wait over an hour to see if it would be enough to force a playoff.Ā Madsen three-putted the final hole of regulation to fall back into a tie with Thitikul, who won with a bogey on the second playoff hole. They had finished at 16-under par for the tournament.
This was Thitikul’s first win on the LPGA, she is a rookie on the tour and is only 19 years old.
