Celine Boutier birdied the first hole in a playoff with Georgia Hall to capture the LPGA Drive On Championship at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Apache Junction, Arizona.

Boutier also had to make birdie on the 18th to force a playoff, finishing her final round at 4-under 68, for a 20-under-par total. Hall shot a final round 7-under to finish with the lead, and then waited over an hour until Boutier caught her to force the playoff.

The win is Boutier’s third LPGA victory, making her the most successful french golfer in LPGA history.

Canada’s Maddie Szeryk had her best career finish on the LPGA tour, finishing tied for 7th.
