Amy Yang won on the LPGA Tour for the fifth time, but the first time on American soil, at the CME Group Tour Championship. Yang finished at 27-under par to win by 3 shot over Alison Lee and Nasa Hataoka. Yang shot a final round 6-under 66, and claims the $2 million first prize, the largest in women’s golf.

The CME Group Tour Championship is the final event for the 2023 LPGA Golf Pool. Michael Byrne had the best week, accumulating 37 points. It was not enough to catch up to Patrick Horwood, the winner by 84 points. The key to his victory was selecting Ruoning Yin who finished the season with 85 points, and Patrick was the only participant to select Yin.
