Angel Yin Wins Buick LPGA Shanghai in Playoff
Angel Yin won the Buick LPGA Shanghai over Lilia Vu with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Yin shot a final round 1-under 70 to finish at 14-under par. The win is the first LPGA title for Yin.
Hyo Joo Kim Wins Ascendant LPGA
Hyo Joo Kim won the Ascendant LPGA Benefitting the Volunteers of America by four shots over Bianca Pagdanganan. Kim finished at 13-under par, winning wire-to-wire at The Colony in Texas.
Hae Ran Ryu Wins Walmart NW Arkansas Championship
Hae Ran Ryu shot a final-round 66 to finish at 19-under par and win the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship by three shots over Linnea Strom. Ryu is the fifth rookie to win on the LPGA tour this year, and the 10th first time winner.
Minjee Lee Wins Kroger Queen City Championship
Minjee Lee had a 5-shot lead with 8 holes to play at the Kroger Queen City Championship. Six holes later Lee was tied with Charley Hull, but claimed victory with a birdie on the second playoff hole. Lee finished at -16 after a final round 71.
Chanettee Wannasaen Wins Portland Classic
Chanettee Wannasaen won the Portland Classic, shooting a final round 9-under 63, becoming the frist Monday qualifier to win an LPGA title since 2015. She finished the tournament at -26, four shots ahead of runner up Xiyu Lin.
Megan Khang Wins CPKC Women’s Open for First Title
Megan Khang won the CPKC Women’s Open in a playoff over Jin Young Ko to capture her first LPGA title. Both finished at 9-under par for the tournament.
Alexa Pano Wins ISPS Handa World Invitational
Alexa Pano won the ISPS Handa World Invitational on the third hole of a playoff over Gabriella Cowley. Esther Henseleit was also in the playoff, but was eliminated after the first hole. Pano shot a final round 6-under 66 to win her first LPGA event on her 19th birthday.
