Jin Young Ko Defends Title at HSBC Women’s World Championship

Jin Young Ko defended her title at the HSBC Women’s World Championship with a 2-shot win over Nelly Korda. It was a very rainy week in Singapore with at least 3 of the rounds experiencing rain delays, including a delay of about an hour during the final round when the leaders had two holes left to play.  When play resumed, Ko made two pars to seal the win. Brooke Henderson Goes Wire-to-Wire to Win HGV Tournament of Champions

Brooke Henderson shot a final-round 70 to finish the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at 16-under and an impressive wire-to-wire victory.  Charley Hull and Maja Stark finsihed tied for 2nd, 4-shots back of the winner. The win is Henderson’s 13th on the LPGA Tour. Continue reading

Enter the 2023 LPGA Golf Pool

The 2023 edition of the LPGA Golf Pool is now open for registrations.

How’s it work?  You pick a set of players for the season, and they get points when they finish in the top-10 of LPGA Tour events.  Whoever collects the most points over the course of the season is the winner.

After each tournament the pool leaderboard will be updated, and a blog post is written to recap the week.  Subscribe to the blog if you want to e-mail notifications for each update post, or you can follow @tbestdgolfsite on twitter.

Nelly Korda Wins Pelican Women’s Championship

Nelly Korda a final-round 6-under par 64 to come from behind and win the Pelican Women’s Championship by a shot over Lexi Thompson.  Korda finished the tournament a 14-under par and became the first player on the LPGA Tour this season to defend the title they won in the 2021 season. With the victory, Korda also regained the number one spot in Rolex Women’s World Rankings. Continue reading
